2024 CRNAA Spring In-House Baseball

2024 CRNAA Spring In-house Baseball Registration for children ages 4-15. Your child's league age for the 2024 Spring season is determined by Little League. You can easily find your child's little league age by using the Little League Age Calculator or you can reference the Little Leage Age Chart

Geographical boundaries will be followed. All are welcome to play the fall within the CR-Newtown Little League District 30 Boundaries. Eligible players live or attend school within Newtown Borough, Newtown Twp, Upper Makefield, Washington's Crossing, and Wrightstown.

Depending on the number of registrants, we will have up to 6 divisions.

  • Tee Ball / QUICKBALL - 4-6 year olds - $75
  • Rookie (Coach Pitch) 5-7 year olds - $225/player
  • American (hybrid Coach/Player Pitch) - usually 8-9 year olds* - $245/player
  • National - usually 9-10 year olds*- $245/player
  • Majors - usually 11-12 year olds*- $245/player
  • Babe Ruth 13-15 year olds -$265/player

*Little League Draft Format:
Players will be placed on teams/divisions based on a draft format in order to ensure teams are evenly matched and players are grouped by skill level to ensure appropriate competition, safety, and fun. The teams will be formed as fairly as possible without bias. Babe Ruth will be comprised of all 13-15 year olds that register. We will then follow a chronological draft format starting with the Majors, where all 12 year olds will be selected. 11 year olds and 10 year olds drafted will also play Majors. We will then hold a National League draft where all remaining 11 year olds will be selected. 10 year olds and 9 year olds that are drafted will also play in this league. Finally, we will then hold an American League draft, which will be where all remaining 10 year olds will be selected. While the majority of the kids in this league will likely be 8-9 year olds, there may be some 7 year olds that will be drafted. Due to this format, NO "PLAY-WITH" REQUESTS will be granted.

Rookie and T-Ball teams will be formed by the league. We will do our best to grant all "Play-With" requests but please understand they are not guaranteed.

2024 CRNAA Spring Baseball Highlights:
  • Season Begins for Babe Ruth, Majors, National, and American on April 1st, 2024 and on April 13th, 2024 for Rookie and T-Ball
  • Schedule will include early practices and then mostly games (American will have more practices)
  • 1 weeknight (Mon, Tue, or Thu) and 1 Saturday day per week during the season
  • Makeup games will be played ASAP on Wednesdays
  • The regular season will be completed by late-May followed by a playoff and championship in each division
  • All players will need a glove, bat, batting helmet, baseball pants, and cleats. The League will supply shirts, hats and baseballs
  • 2024 we will introduce QUICKBALL into our T-Ball program

WE NEED COACHES: Please sign up to coach within this registration form. All coaches will have background checks completed, and all applicants will be reviewed, selected, and approved by the Board.

Assessments:
Assessments for players that wish to be evaluated for American, National, Majors, or Babe Ruth League drafts will be held on the weekends of February 24-25 and/or March 2-3. These are typically players aged 8-12, and 13-15.
  • Players only need to attend 1 of the assessments.
  • COACHES KIDS DO NOT ATTEND.
  • T-BALL and ROOKIE Players DO NOT ATTEND
  • Returning Babe Ruth players DO NOT ATTEND.
We will provide more details in early February.

Drafts and Team Formation will commence following the Assessments

  • Spring In-House - Full Details
  • We offer Tee-Ball through to Babe Ruth.
  •   Tee-Ball / Rookie (Coach Pitch) / American League / National League / Majors / Babe Ruth 
  •   Tee-Ball & Rookie are the only two division where CRNAA allows player pairing.   All other division are drafts based on player assesments.
  •   Assessment for in-house typically take place in February or early March.
  •   Season Opens for all in April


Suburban Travel - Tryouts for these teams take place in Sept/Oct for the for the following Spring Season (ages 7-12yo - Little League Age guidelines) Registration 

  • Summer Tournament Teams; tryouts take place towards the end of the in-house regular season in June. (ages 7-12yo  - Little League Age guidelines)
    • Fall Ball Sandlot - Teams from in September for a fun informal Fall mini season.   We open this to all age groups and no region boundaries.
  • District All-Star Teams  (ages 9-12yo - Little League Age guidelines) all details announced during the Spring season.  
    American Legion - Details released per season.
